Hello and Welcome! This is such an exciting time for you! I am Lauren Taylor, the founder of Taylor’d Southern Events. I am so excited that you discovered my boudoir studio and because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I'd love to tell you a little about me!
I am from Tallahassee but have lived all over the US from Los Angeles to DC. I am happy to be living back in my home town! I am married and have two sweet kids. When I am not working I love to explore new places, try new foods, and just about anything outdoors like surfing, kayaking, snowboarding, and going to the beach. I cherish making memories, Sunday dinners with family, snuggles, quality time, mountain views, beach days, lots of laughs, and most of all our family & friends.

Once you have booked your session and we officially have you scheduled, I will send you all the details on how to best prepare for your shoot!
I will give you tips on how to pick out the best outfits as well as how to prepare for the big day! A lot goes into making your shoot perfect!

The day is finally here! After you’re all glammed up we will go over your outfits one more time to determine our shooting game plan and get the session started. I will coach you every single step of the way. Through detailed coaching (from where your eyes should look to how your toes should be pointed), the best lighting, and the most flattering poses, I will help you discover or re-discover the sexy side that is already within you.
Session day
My design team will do the session reveal with you to show you all the gorgeous photos we took! This usually occurs within 3-4 weeks of your session. This is an emotional moment as you get to see yourself as never before! Then you get to decide on your favorite way to keep these valuable masterpieces. Our signature product is our gorgeous luxury album. Some additional great options are a gorgeous wooden display box with matted prints, a framed wall art piece, and more. On average most of our clients spend $2,500-$3,500 on their keepsake products at the reveal appointment. We do offer some payment plan options if desired, just let us know if you want to discuss that.
One on one reveal
Your product turnaround time depends on the products you purchase. It can range from as soon as 24 hours after your purchase for digital products and up to 6 weeks for some of our printed products. If you have a deadline that is soon, talk to us about options to expedite this.

Now that you’ve gone through the whole experience and have a had a great time, hopefully you are excited to tell your friends about it! So many of my clients have come to me because they were referred by past clients, so I decided to create a referral program. If you refer someone to my studio and she books a session, you get a reward and so does she. It is a huge honor to me when a client loves her experience and artwork enough to share it with friends!

You may not think so right now, because the thought of having your first-ever boudoir experience might be daunting, but after you’ve gone through the whole experience, it’s likely that you’ll want to book another session! How do I know this? I've seen it over and over, where my clients loved the process so much that they decided to come back for another session. Some clients even return every year!

When picking outfits never pick anything you don't love! Choose styles and colors that you feel your best in! Try to incorporate a variety of pieces so that you can get lots of photos! Different options are robes, bra & panty sets, body suits, teddies, corsets, garters & garter belts, hosiery and heels. You could also do a more casual look such as a white button down shirt or oversized sweater with long socks. I also love a classic set of Calvin Klein bra & undies!

The sooner the better! Our schedule tends to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall (wedding season), so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a signed contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD i BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun.

My editing style is very natural and subtle. After the session I select the best images for you to view and perform artistic enhancements and subtle retouches to those images. My goal is to present the best YOU without making you look like someone else. Additional photoshop requests can be discussed at your session reveal! (additional charges may apply).
do you photoshop my images?
I do not include this service in the price of your session fee but I can give you a list of recommendations on who to use. The boudoir session is the perfect opportunity to experience the very best in professional makeup and sexy bed-head hair styling. Because this is such an intimate investment and you want to look and feel your most beautiful, professional hair and make-up is highly recommended and a fun way to pamper yourself before the shoot.

Rather than simply delivering your images in an online gallery, we believe this experience deserves something more meaningful. Within 2–3 weeks of your session, you’ll have a personalized reveal & design appointment with our team. During this one-on-one appointment, you’ll see your images for the very first time, select your favorites, and we’ll design your custom album together. Any purchased images will then be delivered in a beautiful, easy-to-access digital gallery.
